The purpose of this role is to support the QRM team in embedding the culture of quality within Mazars.

Job Role 

The Compliance and Ethics Executive is a key role within the Quality and Risk Management (QRM) team. Responsibilities will include:

Management of helpdesks
 Manage incoming emails, allocating queries to appropriate reviewer
 Respond to basic queries, requesting additional information, and/or consulting managers, where required
 Ensure all queries are resolved promptly
 Maintaining logs

Client acceptance
 Undertaking conflict checking procedures
 Assistance with Know Your Client and Anti-Money Laundering procedures

QRM intranet site
 Update Compliance and Ethics areas of QRM
 Undertake regular content review to ensure up to date
 Explore ways of displaying and communicating content differently to ensure maximum effectiveness/awareness

Other duties
 Maintaining key registers
 Supporting the compliance team with the completion of regulatory returns, assistance with the DPB review, requests for information and assisting with surveys, collating information and following up on action points as requested

Person Specification

While prior experience and/or an interest in compliance and ethics would be helpful it is not a requirement as training and support will be provided. The development of the successful candidate may include training for recognised compliance qualifications where appropriate.

 Self-sufficient with a drive to continue developing
 Works well within a team environment, developing and maintaining relationships within the team and wider firm
 Good time management and organisational skills
 Strong IT skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of SharePoint helpful but not required)
 Can learn new IT programmes quickly
 Actively seeks to develop subject-matter knowledge
